    I have an Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight that I was given almost 40 years ago as a teen. It is a very fast action and I can almost work it as fast as a self loader.

    I read about the Remington 10 being designed with bayonet mounts to use up surplus rolling block bayonets and the cancelled Russian M91 “three-line vintovka” Mosin-Nagant bayonets. I contacted some good ol’ Tarheel boys and urged ’em to make the adapters for, say, the Remington 870! Admittedly, the bayonet is pretty useless, but still it sure would look fearsome. I cringed when Othais made the comment about the ceiling… In my case it was a kitchen light fixture with a bayonet-fixed Mosin! I’ve never lived that one down…
