Another Museum Trip

The South Carolina Military Museum hosted us once again yesterday.  We used our time to disassemble a pair of WWII staples and will be working these images into articles in the future.  In the meantime we wanted to remind everyone you can find more images at our Flickr gallery and if you find yourself near Columbia, SC please visit our friends at the South Carolina Military Museum.

You may navigate the images using the embedded plugin below or by visiting our Flickr page.

News: C&Rsenal welcomed at SC Military Museum

Just a quick note to say thank you to the South Carolina Military Museum for allowing us access to their historical armaments.  We spent a full day in their company photographing an amazing variety of small arms from WWI and WWII.  It will take us quite some time to edit all of these and post them but I can certainly say we have more than enough material for new articles to come.

I’d also like to especially thank Nicholas Gore for being available so quickly.  He brought his best gear to provide our readers with images like this Japanese Type 96.

Updated: Quick and Dirty Guide to Carcano Rifles

So we received a lot of praise for the Quick and Dirty Guide to Carcano Rifle Models.  What no one mentioned but we, personally, observed is that the single image is nearly useless.  None of the information could be copied and it was very slow to load.  We’ve broken it up and added a little more information.  I think it is safe to say this will be the template for Q&D Guides to come.

Animation Added

An animation has been added to the original Frommer Stop article to help clarify just how the long recoil system works.
